Write to us

Use this form for corrections, privacy requests, opt-out questions or story ideas. We cannot identify callers, trace numbers or remove you from other companies' sites, but we can point you to the right place. You can also write directly to [email protected].

Your name, email, message, the time and a hashed form of your IP address are stored in a file so we can reply. We delete them twelve months after we answer, or sooner if you ask. More detail is in the privacy policy.

What to write about

The most useful messages name the page you are writing about and quote the sentence you think is wrong, with a link to the agency or support page that says otherwise. We read every message and answer corrections first, usually within a few working days, though a busy week can stretch that. Story ideas are welcome, but we cannot promise a reply to each one.

What we cannot do

We cannot identify who called you, trace a number, block calls, remove you from another company's listing or give legal advice. If your question is about a scam, report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov. If you feel unsafe, contact local police.
